The main goal of our program is to educate students according to the scientist-practitioner model. In this model, clinical psychology students will have an opportunity to learn necessary research skills that will enable them to apply for Ph.D programs or to be an academician in the future as well as clinical practice skills to be able to work in the clinical area.

The aim of the Izmir University of Economics Clinical Psychology Master's Program is to train qualified graduates who have up-to-date scientific knowledge and research skills in the field of Clinical Psychology, and who can contribute to the field of mental health with this knowledge and skill. In first year the program will include theoretical courses that will support students to have a certain depth in the field of clinical psychology and courses aimed at gaining practical skills. In the second year of the program, our students will work one-on-one with a clinical sample at Izmir University of Economics Psychological Support Application and Research Center, and they will practice under the supervision of the academicians working in the program.

The MSc Clinical Psychology offers masters-level clinical training that will provide you with the practical experience and knowledge you need to fast-track your future career in clinical practice.
