The first condition for being a good economist in a world that is being dynamically transformed by globalization, is to be able to get to the root of the problems encountered in the pathway to a strong economy – such as financial instability, unemployment, inflation and price volatility – and to develop solutions for these problems.

The main objectives of the Department of Economics and Finance are to train managers and leaders who have the required analysis skills in the fields of economics and finance, to follow scientific literature and current developments; who have ethical values, questioning, criticizing, producing ideas and solutions, and developing entrepreneurship and self-confidence.
