Atlas University Faculty of Dentistry offers full-fledged hospital, modern devices, equipped laboratories, clinics and application units, all designed according to the full isolation model (the system that transfers the air out of the infection hospitals and intensive care units with a negative pressure system and reduces the risk of infection) and application units to the service of education.

In our faculty, a training program including pre-clinical and clinical professional skills training, as well as theoretical courses of basic medicine and dentistry clinical sciences, is carried out regarding the national core education program, aiming to provide quality education with continuous improvements. Our preclinical education program, which includes the first three years, consists of basic medicine courses as well as theoretical and preclinical practice courses of Dentistry Clinical Sciences courses. 

The program prepares qualified oral and maxillofacial radiology specialists for positions of responsibility in institutions of higher dental education or in the private practice setting. Participants gain experience in radiation physics, biology and protection and enhance their teaching and research skills. This includes training in the physics and interpretation of advanced imaging modalities, such as magnetic resonance, medical and cone-beam computed tomography. The curriculum also includes microscopic and clinical pathology to strengthen the graduate student’s understanding of clinical correlations with radiologic findings.

The Yeditepe Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology faculty offers a two-year full-time postgraduate certificate program designed to train specialists in oral and maxillofacial radiology. The mission of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Certificate Program is to comprehensively train residents to become proficient radiologists, competent teachers, familiar with the foundations of research methodology, and to contribute their skills and knowledge in the service of the profession.

Providing nutritious, safe and affordable food for all in a sustainable manner is one of the greatest challenges of our times. Food practitioners need to able to respond to food safety and security concerns, shifting attitudes towards food and farming, changing diets and demographics, as well as balance global economic and environmental pressures. This course comes at a time when food and its implications on our health and planet is making headlines. Current challenges include malnutrition and obesity, the food waste-hunger paradox, and food’s devastating environmental impact. Global food consumption and production accounts for a quarter of all greenhouse gas emissions, making our food choice the most effective way to address climate change.
