Students of the Graduate Program in International Trade and Finance will have a strong finance background and will be able to grasp the practical applications of theory and evaluate the interaction between comprehensive global trade processes and international economic and financial environments. Additionally, they will gain abilities to understand and generate solutions for issues in international companies. They will be able to manage global economic risks like exchange rate risk and interest rate risk and use financial instruments such as; debt instruments, stocks, and derivatives.

The aim of this program is to educate Individuals to produce up-to-date, innovative and creative policies, legislation and regulations, projects, solutions, strategies that are extremely important for regional prosperity, social welfare and economic growth in open economy conditions. International trade has a critical importance for all societies as the most important and rapidly growing element of globalization.

Department’s undergraduate program is aimed to train specialists who will be equipped with the up-to-date and latest knowledge on the topics of international trade and finance, which are based on new developments and applications in the world, especially in our country.The most important feature of this program is the interdisciplinary arrangement of international trade and finance topics, which are generally within the direct or indirect interest of the economics and management sciences.The courses in the department’s undergraduate program are designed to provide students with a broad understanding of the fundamental areas of general management and its subdivisions and on the other hand the fundamental areas of general economics and its subdivisions. Some specialization courses in the program have been included in an international trade and finance degree program for the first time; by taking into account the latest developments and effective methods in the digital economy and in globalizing markets (i.e. e-commerce).

The Department of International Trade aims to educate prospective graduates who stand out from the crowd with the education they have received in today’s world with an ever-increasing local and global competition, and have the required knowledge about and skills in international business administration and management.A two-month internship is a requisite of eligibility for graduation. Students getting the support from our Career Centre for internship are referred to our partner international firms.
