This program is designed for students to build knowledge of international trade and business on a solid foundation of management, marketing, accounting and finance. The program will help students explore globalization trends, international trade theories, regulations affecting trade, regional economic integration and the impact that these factors have on international business.

Department of International Trade and Finance aims to train the leaders of the future who are able to provide fast and accurate solutions to the problems encountered in working life and who are able to adapt to the changing world conditions and requirements and can easily use technological innovations. In this context, the aim and priority of the program is to provide the reasons behind the increasing global relations and the results of commercial globalization in both theoretical and practical terms to students at both local and international levels. In addition to the current foreign trade strategies in the field, students will be able to internalize international trade concepts and practices, support the development of qualified human resources in line with the needs and orientations of the global structure, are equipped with interdisciplinary information, take part in the work of local and global enterprises, focus on increasing the commercial scale and performance, and understand international competition and their policies and developments.

The objective of the Department of Internatinal Trade is to provide the student the knowledge and skills required for business and management and make them to gain an advantage in the working environment and in the national and international competitive world. The department also aims to train the individuals based on a systematic learning by combining the concepts of economic and management with the legal system and the department's special emphasis is places on "strategy and strategic thinking in the concept of international trade".

The Department of International Trade and Finance prepares students for business life, training them as professionals, who can design strategies suitable for international trade, position goods and services in an international environment, understand the structure of international trade establishments, and contribute to the national economy by analysing various financial models.

Students who will complete the Graduate Program in International Trade and Finance will have a strong finance background and be able to grasp the practical applications of theory and evaluate the interaction between comprehensive global trade processes and international economic and financial environments. Furthermore, they will be able to manage global economic risks like exchange rate risk and interest rate risk and use financial instruments such as; debt instruments, stocks, and derivatives. Additionally, they will gain abilities to understand and generate solutions for issues in international companies.
