Local Governments and Governance Master’s Program established under the Department of Public Administration examines local governments due to its content. In the program, local development policies, urban sociology, urban politics and environmental policies and governance concepts that envisage a more dynamic public structure based on the rapidly spreading principles of transparency, accountability and participation are discussed in detail. The program focuses on the interaction and cooperation of multiple actors – public institutions, local governments, private sector, non-governmental organizations, international institutions and citizens.
