The Department of international relations examines the major actors in the international system, the States, international organizations and non-state actors within the framework of their characteristics, historical backgrounds and interrelationships. The structure and functioning of the institutions forming the states as the main actors, especially foreign policy making processes, political and economic relations constitute the main analysis issues.
