In this degree program, students build fundamental management skills and develop knowledge of the complex issues facing health care systems from an administrative perspective. The program imparts the fundamentals of health care reimbursement systems, financial accounting and marketing, personnel management, and medical ethics. It teaches students how to manage personnel at all levels of an organization, how to create and maintain an effective budget, and how to perform their jobs ethically to the benefit of all involved. It also teaches them how to safely create and maintain systems that help those who are receiving care from various health care systems.
