The Bs Sociology Program aims to equip students with critical and analytical thinking skills, and research proficiencies. Mechatronics refers to a flexible, multi-technological approach for integration of mechanical engineering, computer engineering, electronics and information sciences. Mechatronics is essential in the design of intelligent products. It allows engineers to transform their virtual concepts into real life applications. It is a relatively new concept relating to the design of systems, devices and products aimed at achieving an optimal balance between basic mechanical structure and its overall control. The programme involves research and coursework that will push the frontiers of technology in intelligent product design and development. The research activities involve design and control of intelligent robotic systems and automated machines.

The BS in Software Engineering degree will equip students with technical knowledge of the fundamentals of computer systems, programming languages, and the basic concepts of algorithms and data structures that are required to establish reliability and safety in software. The course emphasizes the development of professional skills in the technical area of software engineering, that is, the systematic application of analysis, design, and construction techniques for computer systems and applications.
