The aim of this program is to professionally train students to a high level and prepare them for management positions in the tourism industry. Students will follow the general trends in the sector, as well as examine the sources and basic problems in tourism and do extensive research in this feild.

The aim of our department is to train intercultural communication specialist translators who have high level linguistic, cultural, textual skills, research awareness, special field and world knowledge, ethical values of the profession and know the national / international translation sector in the Turkish-English language-culture pair.

The Non-Thesis Master’s Program in Conference Interpreting has two objectives. The first is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they will need as conference interpreters, taking into account the increasing demand for multilingual conference interpreters in Turkey and in international business circles and the possible membership of the European Union in the near future.

The degree program in Translation and Interpretation trains translators and interpreters in Turkish, English and French. It is dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the evolving and challenging field of translation and interpretation.

The Department of Translation and Interpreting (English) aims to educate prospective qualified translators who have strong speaking and writing skills, have a good command of the English and Turkish languages, are versed in not only the language but also the culture of the relevant countries, and can translate into/from another language in addition to English.
