At Altinbas University our primary objective is to educate graduates capable of interrogating their surroundings and having grasped the importance of lifelong learning. Our curriculum is accordingly devised in order to provide our students with knowledge in various disciplines of psychology. The program has a flexible structure that will enable students to specialize in their areas of interest. In order to support our graduates in becoming successful professionals, our faculty will be providing individual guidance to every student in order to direct them towards their area of interest and competence. 

The science of psychology is concerned with the human mind, one of the most complex substances of the nature. Efforts to understand this unique existence is still continuing intensively across the world. The programs of the Department of Psychology are designed to enable graduates to carry out theoretical and applied researches. In accordance with this purpose, programs include courses on methods and data analysis. Modern science is multi-disciplinary. This approach includes the association of psychological processes with brain structures and processes. Psychology program consists of courses and activities aimed at gaining knowledge and skills on "brain-based psychology”.

BS Public Administration is an inter-disciplinary degree encompassing several academic disciplines. The program aims to strengthen the skills and knowledge base of students and prepare them for successful careers through rigorous academic training and real life simulations. Additionally, the program will enrich the students with a vast array of hard as well soft skills which will enable them to devise effective and practical solutions and build consensus. A special emphasis will be laid on the Pakistani context, drawing upon conditions both domestic as well as external that shape the dynamics of public policy and politics vis-à-vis citizenry, society and interstate relations.

This programme will offer you the opportunity to demonstrate a systematic understanding of fundamental public health concepts and to critically approach a broad range of public health theories, concepts and frameworks that are fundamental to public health policy and practice in national and international contexts with thesis project at the end.
