In this program, management and information technologies are taught in an interdisciplinary manner. The development and effective use of information systems to gain a competitive edge in the business world is a primary aim of the MIS program. To serve this purpose, computer science concepts (programming, web design, database management, etc.) and management concepts (economy, marketing, accounting, finance, etc.) are taught as core courses. Advanced courses, which serve to integrate these two fields, help students to grasp such systems as development, management information systems, e-business, and decision-making processes.
