There is a tremendous increase in the number of passengers with the developments in the Turkish civil aviation services. Parallel to this, many serious strides have been made also in many related areas. Based on the future need for skilled manpower in these areas "Civil Aviation Management" section’s main aim is to serve a very high quality business education focusing on civil aviation and support activities related to passenger and freight to carry out the work force.

Executive MBA Program is constituted to train the professional executives who are looking for perfect career. This program aims to provide required academic and analytical information infrastructure for the candidates who have a role as a leader in their companies. Executive MBA Program provides for the executives and candidates an efficient and interactive educational atmosphere to accommodate the changing world’s dynamics and to develop their abilities in finding constructive solutions for the management problems. The program is a 120 ECTS credit program with a duration of 2 academic years, each with 2 semesters. The regular program consists of 8 courses of 21 local credits, a seminar and a thesis work of 60 ECTS credits with a normal duration of 2 semesters. The institute, upon the request of the program director, may require the prospective student to take additional courses if his/her background is not seen fit to follow the program.

Master’s Degree Program without thesis in Business Management for Business Manager is a 90 ECTS credit program with a duration of 1,5 academic years and with 3 30-ECTS semesters. THe medium of instruction for this program is English. The regular program consists of 10 courses of 30 local credits and a term Project. The institute, upon the request of the program director, may require the prospective student to take additional courses if his/her background is not seen fit to follow the program.

Established in 2007, the undergraduate program of the Department of Computer Engineering aims at educating technically competent and socially conscious engineers who will design and implement information and computing systems mandated by the ever growing and diversified automation needs of the contemporary societies. The department offers a balanced undergraduate program which covers computer software, computer hardware, and computer networks with a strong background on mathematics as well as non-departmental technical/non-technical and compulsory/elective courses.

Our mission is to develop a physician's notion which is comprising education, research and patient treatment activities in the field of dentistry, equipped with basic medical information, following all kinds of innovation with high level of application skills, focused on life-long learning and self-improvement, adopted ‘’primum non nocere’’ as a principle and ethical values; to train dentists who can interevene effectively in any situation to diseases, anomalies of the stomatognathic system consists of the mouth, jaws, and closely associated structures; to gain an interdisciplinary perspective and Strengthen treatment planning skills with evidence based data that are necesary for raising the interaction inthe field; to provide students training in the field of deontology and behavioral sciences to support being highly distinguished and qualified professionals.

This program (in English) focuses on advanced level education for engineers for taking part in research and making contributions to research and development in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. It promotes research and development studies in the fundamental areas of electrical and electronics engineering such as communication, signal processing, automatic control, optics and power systems that are needed by the industry in international scope.

The mission of electrical and electronics engineering is to provide education for students who are able to compete in all over the world and able to answer social needs in their fields. To accomplish these abilities, it is obligatory to learn basic principles of electrical and electronics engineering which builts our course structure. Total curriculum contains practical, therotical and design courses for providing qualified education.

IAU aims to develop students' knowledge of English Language and Literature and American Literature with a contemporary, critical and theoretical approach, To provide students with an interdisciplinary perspective, and to strengthen their critical reading, writing and thinking skills acquired within the field, To provide students with the knowledge of different areas of the social sciences and to educate well-equipped and ethical individuals that can be useful to the society.

The department of English Language and Literature provides advanced education in English Language and Literature by presenting students with contemporary methods, comparative approaches and universal perspectives in linguistics and literary studies. Our Master’s Degree program at the Social Sciences Institute at Istanbul Aydın University aims at encouraging students in acquiring critical thinking, persuasive communicative skills and a sophisticated perspective on English language and literature. The department accepts students with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature or other (un)related fields as long as they demonstrate English proficiency. Ones who do not qualify need to take no-credits preparatory courses at the bachelor’s degree level for at least one semester that will not count towards their Master’s degree. A total of at least 24 local credits and at least 8 courses and a seminar constitute the course work of 60 ECTS required for a master's degree program with thesis . A thesis of 60 ECTS credits is required for the completion of this 120 ECTS program.

The Ph.D. program for master's degree holders at the Department of English Language and Literature is designed to prepare students for independent work as scholars, critics of literature and as competent and objective academics in the advanced study of literatures in English. The normal duration of the program is 3 academic years consisting of 6 semesters. The program which is based on a master's degree in a relevant field requires the successful completion of 180 ECTS with 60 ECTS course work and 120 ECTS thesis work. One ECTS is equal to 25.5 hours of student workload per semester . The course plan must consist of at least 7 courses with 21 local credits (equivalent to 60 ECTS). The institute may require the prospective students to take additional courses upon the request of the program director if the educational background of the applicant is not seen appropriate to follow the normal program.

The Department of English Language Teaching at Istanbul Aydin University helps prospective English teachers build knowledge of content and methods of language teaching and educational sciences. It also provides many elective courses related with the culture of the target language. We strongly believe that English teachers with critical thinking skills can keep up with technological changes and follow contemporary developments in their fields, which will lead them to be life-long learners who will follow the change and the principles of contemporary education so that these highly qualified teachers will be able to contribute to the solution of the problems of English Language Teaching in our country and actively take part in the education and teaching of this language in the light of modern methods and opinions developed in the field.

The Bachelor’s Degree Program of the Department of Industrial Engineering is a 240 ECTS credits 4-year program composed of eight semesters, each of which has a 30 ECTS workload. One ECTS equals to 25.5 hours of student workload per semester. Industrial Engineers analyse human, machine, equipment, and other similar elements in both industry and service sectors. The aim of the Department of Industrial Engineering is to train engineers who can prevent and resolve problems by developing systems, models, and methods to plan, organize, implement and audit in all sectors.

The objective of the Department of Internatinal Trade is to provide the student the knowledge and skills required for business and management and make them to gain an advantage in the working environment and in the national and international competitive world. The department also aims to train the individuals based on a systematic learning by combining the concepts of economic and management with the legal system and the department's special emphasis is places on "strategy and strategic thinking in the concept of international trade".

The main purpose of our department is to train students who have management skills in producing, sharing and storing information that will improve information systems in businesses, preparing information systems that will cover all functions of the business, and managing these systems, who can adapt to today's information technologies and can adapt to new technologies, and to bring our graduates to the sector.

Our faculty is a modern and large institution providing education, research, and health services in a large campus area and its own university hospital in this area. It offers integrated medical education with 100 instructors who are experts in their fields. The state-of-the-art branch laboratories in the Basic Medical Sciences Laboratory complex are designed to make full use of each student. Istanbul Aydın University VM Medical Park Hospital is one of the leading full-fledged university hospitals in its region with a bed capacity of 300 in an area of 51.000 m2, 13 operating rooms, and 92 polyclinics and technological infrastructure.

 Academic courses and Theoretical Ground Courses required by international standards for the Pilotage department will be carried out at our university. Flight Trainings will be carried out by our business partner "True Course Flight Academy" Authorized Flight School by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM). Graduating students will have Bachelor's Degree from Department of Pilotage, and Airline Commercial Pilot Licence (ATPL-A) approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM).

The objective of the program is to train graduates who are competent on the history of the international system and the stages it underwent, the economic, political, legal structure and operation of the system, the relations between the states forming the international system and Turkey’s position within this system.

The Political Sciences and International Relations Department of the Institute of Social Sciences of the Istanbul Aydın University aims to equipe the students with a profound knowledge and wide ranging views on modern global as well as domestic political and international problems. Students will have the basic knowledge on the sources of different problems on both fields. Additionally, the participants of the program will obtain the required skills for the development and analysis of policies on the core subjects.

The program offers PhD candidates courses on political theory, comparative politics, international relations theory, foreign policy, Research Methods and Turkish politics and Turkish foreign policy. The PhD program is designed to provide the students with the necessary theoretical and conceptual knowledge and capability and to enable the successful Phd candidates to write and defend their dissertations in diverse fields of the program and under the supervision of expert faculty staff.
